The aim of the course is to provide the basic instruments of the understanding of the main international economic phenomena at the root of the economic globalization process and of the international exchange of goods, services and production factors. Moreover, the course aims to provide the basic knowledge of the trade policies, of monetary and fiscal policies in an open economy, of the exchange rate determination and of the choice of the exchange rate regime.
