Since 2018, I have been an Associate Professor of Economic Statistics (SECS-S/03) in the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of Siena. Previously, I served as Assistant Professor (Researcher) in Economic Statistics (SECS-S/03) in the same Department from 2010 to 2018 and, from 2005 to 2010, in the Department of Quantitative Methods at the University of Siena.
I hold a degree in Statistical and Economic Sciences from the University of Siena and a PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Florence.
My research focuses on the multidimensional measurement of poverty and well-being, statistical models, and objective and subjective indicators in the social, economic, environmental, and demographic fields. I have published extensively on these topics in international peer-reviewed journals.
I currently teach Statistics for Social Surveys in the Master’s Degree Programme in Economics for the Environment and Sustainability and Statistical Analysis for Business in the Master’s Degree Programme in Management and Governance.
