Syllabus course Economic history (matricole 00-49)

60 hours (compulsory for all BA courses)

First lesson 2nd March 2015.

The main aim of the course is to focus on the process of economic growth and development since the First Industrial Revolution until the present time. The course surveys the economic history of the World and its main purpose is to show how a long run perspective could be very useful to a better understanding of actual economic problems. The approach used try to merge economic theory of growth with recent research in long run trends of development.
